INTRODUCTION

The e-conIBEE 2026, organised by the Studies of Construction from the Faculty of Built Environment, UiTM Shah Alam, aims to build a vibrant community of scholars, researchers, students, and professionals in the built environment by providing a platform to showcase their innovations, inventions, and designs related to their disciplines. The theme for the e-conIBEE 2026 is ‘Built Environment and Engineering’, but not limited to:

GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION

This guide is intended for local & international presenters wishing to participate in e-conIBEE 2026:-

STEP 1
Registration
Participants who wish to present must register via the provided link and pay in the appropriate category.

STEP 2
Submission
Presenters must submit an abstract and a single file related to the topics presented on YouTube.

STEP 3
Evaluation Criteria
All submissions will be evaluated on originality, relevance to the theme, creativity, and clarity of presentation.

GUIDELINE FOR VIDEO SUBMISSION

Guidelines for submitting videos to YouTube for e-IBEE 2026. Please adhere to these to ensure consistency, quality, and eligibility:

Video Duration

  • Maximum duration: 5 minutes.
  • Videos exceeding this limit will not be accepted.

Content Focus

  • Ensure your video is relevant to the theme or competition objectives.
  • Highlight your innovation, creative process, or project outcome.
  • Keep the content engaging, educational, and informative.

Creativity & Presentation

  • Use clear visuals, text overlays, and captions to improve understanding.
  • Feel free to include voiceovers, background music, or animations, as long as they support your message.
  • Avoid excessive effects that distract from the content.

Music and Audio

  • Use copyright-free music or sounds available in YouTube’s audio library.
  • Ensure all spoken audio is clear and audible.
  • Use subtitles or captions if the audio includes critical information.

Submission Instructions

Important Reminders

  • Maximum number of members: 5, including a teacher for the school category.
  • Do not include offensive or inappropriate content.
  • Ensure all materials (images, music, footage) are original or properly credited.
  • Only one submission per entry is allowed.

Judging

  • The video evaluation will be done by experienced judges selected by the organizer.
  • JUDGES’ DECISIONS ARE FINAL. All appeals will not be entertained.

Jury Evaluation – 16th October 2026 – 31st October 2026
