GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

  1. The presentation during the IConBEE2024 parallel session will be conducted physically or virtually (depending on the registration selection).
  2. The presenters are required to prepare the presentation slide regardless of whether it is a physical or virtual presentation.
  3. Presentation slides shall be in English.
  4. The presentation slide must include the name of the conference (IConBEE2024) and the presenter’s institution logo. The title of the research and the name of the presenter must appear on the introduction slide.
  5. Each presenter will be allocated a maximum duration of 10 minutes only. The point will be deducted if the presentation exceeds the allocated time.
  6. For VIRTUAL PRESENTATION, the presenters need to present their paper ONLINE during the IConBEE2024 in parallel sessions.
  7. The Q&A session will be conducted after the presentation ends maximum of 15 minutes per session.

MODE OF PRESENTATIONS

Oral Presentation: Physical Presentation Guidelines

The oral (physical) presentation will be the main part of the session at IConBEE2024. The session will take place in parallel with a duration of 60 minutes. Each session will contain six (6) presenters and opportunities for in-depth discussions.

There are a few requirements and equipment that you must have before you start your oral (physical) presentation.

  1. You are required to prepare a presentation slide using the PowerPoint templates (click for IConBEE2024 PowerPoint template 🔗) and include paper ID, paper title, author(s)’ name, presenter’s name, and presenter’s photo.
  2. The presentation slide format shall be .ppt (MS PowerPoint) and to be named as #Paper ID_Full name_Institution Name_Conference track 🔗 (i.e. #6_Medinaa Abdol Afza_UiTM_B)
  3. Kindly submit your presentation slides as a link via this online form 🔗 at least 3 days prior to the event.
  4. Oral (physical) presentation must not be more than 10 minutes.
  5. The presenters may check the details parallel session schedule on the IConBEE2022 website three (3) days before the event.
  6. The presenters must be ready at the assigned presentation room 15 minutes earlier.

Oral Presentation: Virtual Presentation Guidelines Via Webex

The live presentation will take place through a platform called Webex.

There are few requirements and equipment that you must have before you start your live online video presentation.

  1. You must have a laptop/PC desktop with a webcam.
  2. Updated browser / installed Webex application.
  3. Must have a very good internet connection (Minimum bandwidth 3Mbps Download, 1Mbps upload) to avoid any delays during your presentation. Please check your internet bandwidth at this link https://www.speedtest.net/ 🔗
  4. Bright and calm environment to present your research.
  5. Available at the Webex room 5 minutes before the session starts. A link to the Webex room will be provided by the IConBEE Committee through email.
  6. Test your mic and slide sharing before starting your live video presentation.
  7. Your presentation must not be more than 10 minutes.
